Below is a list of entry-level checking accounts offered by member financial institutions of the Bank On Boston Coalition. Based on their features, some of these accounts meet the Massachusetts Community and Banking Council (MCBC) Basic Banking for Massachusetts Standards or the Cities for Financial Empowerment (CFE) Fund Bank On National Account Standards.
To open an account, residents can either visit financial institution branches and ask to open an account, or open for an account online if the financial institution offers that service.
