The City of Boston and the Mayor’s Office of Financial Empowerment are celebrating America Saves Week with free events to help residents save for their future. Be sure to take advantage of these great opportunities!

Savings Fair

Free Tax Help

The Boston Tax Help Coalition provides free tax preparation from January through April for residents who earned $55,000 or less in 2018. Check the list of documents to bring.

Boston Saves Welcome Events

Save for your child’s college or career training with Boston Saves, the City’s children’s savings account program. Boston Saves, currently in its pilot phase, will hold welcome events for families of K2 and 1st grade students at Haynes School  and Roosevelt K-8 School.

Attend tax information and credit building workshops led by Mayor’s Office of Financial Empowerment experts. The workshops are part of a full day of financial literacy workshops presented at the Money Talk 2 financial literacy conference. Be sure to RSVP here.
