The Office of Financial Empowerment is excited to have received a grant from LISC and the Social Innovation Fund to support a Bridge to Hospitality Program which will provide pre-employment training in the hospitality industry, basic computer skills, customer service service, conflict resolution skills, job readiness training, job placement, and much more. Are you interested in working at a hotel?
The goal is to help place low-to-moderate income Boston residents in jobs that pay good hourly wages plus full benefits. The first ten-week training program begins on May 9, 2016 at the Roxbury Center for Financial Empowerment. You must be a member of the RCFE to be eligible for this Bridge Program but membership is free – call 617-541-2670 to learn more. If the May class is full, call us anyway as we will be hosting another free class in the fall.
Skills needed: Interest in a career in the Hospitality industry. Strong work ethic. Good customer service and problem solving skills. Positive attitude.
